Years of Experience

We have many years of birding experience, initially focused on southern Thailand and more recently extending nationwide. Our knowledge goes well beyond birds: we are equally passionate about butterflies, insects, snakes, lizards, frogs, and mammals. If it moves, we photograph it — and we love helping guests do the same.

Discover South Thailand
A misty morning over layered green hills at dawn, with soft peach and lavender tones in the sky, evoking the quiet start of a birding day
A close view of lush broadleaf foliage in soft rain, rich emerald and olive greens with water droplets on leaves, suggesting the vibrant forest understory

Guides, Not a Tour Company

We operate as independent guides rather than a packaged-tour company. That means you pay only for guiding and direct expenses at cost — no hidden mark-ups. We also run a sister site, PhuketNatureTours.com, reflecting our broader passion for nature across the region.

Get in Touch

Birding in southern Thailand offers a uniquely rewarding experience thanks to the region's rich mosaic of lowland forests, coastal mangroves, and limestone karsts. The tropical climate means that bright, warm conditions prevail for much of the year, though the sun's rays demand sensible preparation. A lightweight, breathable hat with a wide brim provides essential protection from glare and heat, while earth-toned clothing in tan, beige, or dark greens helps birdwatchers blend naturally into the surroundings. Pure white or overly bright garments can startle sensitive species, so choosing muted colors that resemble dried leaves and forest floor coverings greatly improves your chances of close encounters. With thoughtful gear and a patient approach, every outing becomes an unforgettable journey into the vibrant birdlife of the south.
